It looks like it'd pair pretty well with the Sand Hawk SMG with the bonus SMG damage on full but I still don't see why you wouldn't use say, a Re-Volter or hell a Band of Sitorak considering the major buff the mod gave it. The shield gives +250% smg dmg and +250 fire damage.
