The program prepares advanced practice nurses to add expertise in the role of Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), a clinician who provides primary care in collaboration with other professionals to support health care for individuals, families, and communities. The additional course requirements beyond the D.N.P. program are four courses in the nursing education concentration and an education-focused scholarly project.
