Image source. Chinning is a form of range training where the player uses Chinchompas to attack a large group of enemies, generally in a multi-combat area. Chins hit enemies in a 3×3 square area, and every enemy within this area will take damage. As a result, this leads to very high amounts of range experience.I would say closer to 48-50k chins from 80, 55k from 70. At 80 you only get around 200-220 exp per chin on short fuse (which is higher exp per chin) and once you get to 90 do you get in the 240-250 range and higher. When i chinned 99 ranged it was tough to get about 260 per in the high 90s so you need some decent luck to get it done in 40k chins.Black chins are better xp/h so I guess it would be more efficient but I've never really done them. If you plan on not doing western hard diary I think black chins is the better options (because the spots are crowded). In my tired state, when I caught my 800th Red Chin, I went to press "examine" so I could see the total price of what I caught so far (I use OSBuddy). Best place in game for red chin hunting. 92 range probably about 300k an hr, because you wont be getting 700k+ overall range/def xp an hr w/ defensive, rapid will always be higher exp but you can roughly estimate about 270-320k an hr depending on the amount of attention you are giving it.
