Jake brake not working on high
Apr 28, 2014 · I am not a mechanic and don't claim to be one but I had a 379 years ago that did this same thing. All it was was the spring on the clutch pedal. The pedal wouldn't fully release and this caused cruise and jake to not work. The Jake worked on all cylinders for a short time after I changed the cylnoids and again after I changed the wire harness. Low = solenoid 2. Medium = solenoid 1 and 3. High = solenoid 1, 2 and 3. Engine brake button is working. When I put it on, it won’t let me shift, no engine brake sound though.
